The best age for the first photoshoot is 7-12 days after birth. This is precisely the age when babies sleep very well, and the poses they assume during the shoot are very natural and familiar to them (many of them resemble the baby’s position in the womb). At this age, you will receive the most touching and tender photographs. 

Of course, my years of experience allow me to conduct a wonderful photoshoot for babies three weeks and older, but it is still better to plan the shoot during the period when it is most comfortable for little ones.

It’s best to book a future shoot during pregnancy based on your due date (EDD). For this, please indicate in your application: 

1) Your city (I can travel to almost any city/country), 

2) Your expected due date, and provide contact information for communication. In response, I will send you a price list relevant to your location along with information about my services. 

If, for some reason, you did not plan a shoot during pregnancy, you can still book one in the first days after your baby is born, provided that there is availability in my schedule in the coming days.

In Moscow, a newborn photoshoot can take place either at my studio or at your home.

For many years, my signature style in newborn photography has been airy shots among plants. Such a shoot is completely safe; the baby is warm, but these images can only be captured during the warm summer and autumn months, provided that the parents agree and we have access to a green area near the house. It doesn’t need to be a professionally landscaped garden; a small amount of greenery is sufficient. 

Everything necessary for the shoot is brought by the photographer. Parents do not need to prepare props; we just need to agree on the color scheme and details the day before the meeting. The equipment and props for outdoor shoots are specialized, prepared before the photoshoot, and allow me to visit babies in any corner of the world! 

My journey in photography began in the city of Oryol, where my studio is located, surrounded by a beautiful garden, where it is also possible to take photos among plants during good weather in the summer. From time to time, I conduct photoshoots in Oryol as well. 

To clarify arrival dates and schedule a shoot, please write to me. I can travel to almost any city or country for a photoshoot.

Special attention is paid to the thorough cleaning and disinfection of all props used with the baby. Delicate knit backgrounds, wraps, and swaddles are chosen from the softest, most pleasant fabrics, and they are washed and steamed after each session. 

Each baby has their own bacteria, and often newborns have not fully healed umbilical cords, so hygiene is given special attention! Props undergo additional steaming right before the shoot. 

This is a mandatory step in preparing for the baby’s session and happens in front of the parents.

Parents do not need to prepare the baby for the shoot. The necessary props and accessories are prepared after agreeing on the color scheme and preferences; I will bring everything with me. 

Shortly before our meeting, I will send detailed recommendations to help you easily and quickly gather everything needed for the photoshoot without missing anything.

Typically, a newborn photoshoot takes about 3-4 hours, and this does not mean that the shooting is continuous. Most of this time is needed for breaks for feeding and soothing the baby. The process is always slow-paced and very interesting. Being at a photoshoot, I must admit, is not much different from the usual daily routines of parents at home, with one exception: most of the tasks are performed by an experienced photographer. 

For moms, it’s just about relaxing and enjoying the fascinating process! Often, parents fall asleep during the photoshoot, which further shows how comfortable and calm the session is for them.

I would say that such photos are absolutely necessary! Family photographs become cherished memories for many years. Additionally, compared to mom and dad, you can see just how tiny the baby was in those first days of life! 

The newborn period is truly special, although it is often forgotten first. New experiences and joys follow it. Thanks to this first photoshoot, parents can capture their little one when they are at their smallest, creating a wonderful photo archive that will stay with the family for years. 

When there are older siblings in the family, we can also take pictures of the newborn with them. After family shots, the photographer continues to “create, ” while mom gets to relax!

I am very grateful to those parents who do not mind sharing a few photos of their baby immediately after the shoot; this helps me grow and improve in my profession. However, I respect parents' decisions to postpone publication.
